Jared Ceja became the Foundation Executive Director in March 2020 after serving as a Division Director at CSULB, Auxiliary Services Director at Chaffey College, and Bookstore Manager at Santa Ana College. Prior to working in higher education, Jared held positions in corporate retail, banking, and theme park operations. His education includes an MBA from the University of Redlands, BA in Business Economics & Accounting from UCSB, and AA from Citrus College.
Mr. Ceja is an active member of the auxiliary services community having served as the West Regional Representative to the NACAS National Board, NACAS West President, Conference Chair, and numerous other leadership roles. He also earned and has maintained a CASP designation since 2013 and is frequently invited to share best practices at higher education conferences.
Jared is a Southern California native and current resident of Pomona. He considers it a true privilege to be a part of the Cal Poly Pomona family.

Thomas Sekayan is a Higher Education Business Practitioner with over 15 years of experience in university auxiliary services. As a Certified Auxiliary Services Professional (“CASP”), awarded by the National Association of College Auxiliary Services, Mr. Sekayan has managed third-party contracted services, such as campus dining and university bookstore, executed RFPs, led contract negotiations, and is dedicated to lean processes. Mr. Sekayan understands the importance of his work at the Foundation, and its commitment to Cal Poly Pomona. His promise to students and the campus community is to advocate for quality Foundation Enterprises with a perpetual drive to enhance the Bronco life.
Thomas graduated from the University of West Florida with a Master of Education (M.Ed.), degree in College Student Personnel Administration and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Music Education degree from California State University, Northridge.
During his time away from the Foundation, Mr. Sekayan is an amateur banjo and piano player, and spends his time exclusively with his wife, children, dog, and chickens.

With more than 25 years of leadership in the CSU auxiliary system, Mr. Marji has demonstrated his ability in managing complex financial operations and fostering substantial growth. His career has been marked by exemplary leadership in the management of grants, commercial operations, risk management, and strategic organizational success.
His previous roles include serving as the Executive Director for Cal State L.A. University Auxiliary Services, Inc., where he provided administrative and executive leadership for a range of auxiliary operations. Before that, he was the Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer at Cal State Fullerton Auxiliary Services Corporation, where he managed the financial stewardship of the organization for over thirteen years. Mr. Marji’s professional journey also includes a tenure as the General Financial Manager at Cal Poly Pomona Enterprises and a diverse career in the private sector before transitioning to higher education.
Mr. Marji received a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Woodbury University and has served as a Trustee for the Auxiliaries Multiple Employer Voluntary Employees’ Beneficiary Association (VEBA), Treasurer for the National Association of College Auxiliary Services (NACAS), and various leadership roles within the Auxiliary Organization Association (AOA).

Mrs. Benson has worked in the Human Resources field for over 20 years, including experience in Regional Human Resources at Office Depot, Director, Human Resources/Training at Home Shopping Network and Human Resources Director at Valley Power Systems. In addition, she also holds SHRM-SCP, SPHR and CPSP certifications. Her passion for Human Resources is prominent, and she has dedicated her career to her passion by serving on the Executive Board of the San Gabriel Valley Employer Advisory Council, a non-profit to educate Human Resources professionals and small businesses in human resources practices during her free time. Furthermore, Shari is an Adjunct Instructor at the University of La Verne, teaching Human Resources and Business Communication courses.
Shari Benson is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona and received her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resource Management. After graduating from CPP, Shari continued her relationship with the university and served on several alumni committees, volunteered at Cal Poly Pomona's Alumni Professor for a Day Program and mentored Cal Poly Pomona students. She went on to receive her Master's degree in Organizational Leadership from Chapman University.

Southern California native Aaron Neilson obtained his degree in Culinary Arts at Western Culinary Institute and in Business Administration at Strayer University in Washington DC. Aaron has worked on several college campuses since 1992, including the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Loyola Marymount University, The Claremont Colleges, Chapman University, and the University of La Verne. Aaron resides with his wife and daughters in Alta Loma.

Clint Aase joined the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation Inc. in March 2002 as General Merchandise Manager. He later moved to assistant director before being promoted to Bookstore Director. Clint graduated from CSUF with a BA in Business Administration. He also brought nearly 20 years of retail and wholesale sales experience and perspective to the Bronco Bookstore.

Dave Laxamana has been with the Cal Poly Pomona Foundation since 2011, when he joined the University Village as a Complex Coordinator. He served as the Assistant Director for Community Standards and Senior Associate Director before being promoted to the Director of Foundation Housing Services. Dave earned his Master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration from the University of Vermont. He received his Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of California, San Diego and an Associate’s degree in Psychology from San Diego Mesa College.

Randy Wallace Jr. has been with the Foundation since 2008 where he joined the Real Estate Department. He has served in various capacities as a Real Estate Manager, Assistant Director of Real Estate and is currently the Director of Real Estate and Facilities Management. Randy graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona and earned his MBA from University of La Verne. Randy has been a licensed Real Estate Broker in California since 2004 and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, California Association of Realtors and Urban Land Institute.

Alex Hernandez is a graduate of Cal Poly Pomona, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Information Systems. Mr. Hernandez joined the Foundation in 2003. He oversees the marketing department and designs, develops, and maintains all Foundation websites. Prior to joining the Foundation he owned and operated several retail businesses around Southern California.
